We wanted to capture the unique sounds of summer in the Pacific Northwest and combine them with unmistakeable auto sounds. We created a completely original sound design track composed of those sounds to create a specal promotional Northwest Ford Dealers commercial.
We needed to raise consumer awareness during key sales periods -- Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day. Those holidays are known for being prime weekends in the Pacific Northwest when the weather here is particularly beautiful and mild. It brings everyone outside and we wanted to celebrate that.
We created a unique sound design to combine the seasonality and unique sounds of automotive life. We were able to acheive a big sales lift during these key week-long promotional periods.
Summertime is particularly celebrated in the Pacific Northwest because of its propensity for warm, sunny days and cool nights that bring everyone outside.
