Boston during the summer is beautiful. Its why its the peak tourism time for the city. But there's another season thats just as magical but doesn't always get the same love: winter. For our client Meet Boston, we needed to find a way to remind summer travelers in the city that Boston isn't just a one season city. 

So we created the scrappy guerilla campaign "Dying For Winter", featuring some characters who truly can't wait for winter to come to Boston - melting snowpeople. Placed in high-tourist areas at the end of summer, these fun, pop-up ads featured messages encouraging return travel for the winter months.

Put up and shot over the course of a day, the creation of the melting characters was all done in-house by agency creatives - for the price of $89 in craft material and some serious glue gun skills. And as part of a larger winter effort, helped make winter a successful season for the client.
