Creative Director, Copy
Underdog
Lynn is indie in the truest sense of the word: scrappy, gutsy, and unfiltered.
She speaks up when the status quo isn’t serving the work, the team, or the client, even when it’s uncomfortable. She sees what needs to be done and simply does it. In a lean environment where titles are fluid and hands are few, she steps in with a “let’s do this” mindset, not because she has extra time, but because she refuses to let our agency fall short.
She deeply cares about the work, the people making it, and the client buying it. Lynn protects ideas and pushes them to evolve. She keeps timelines on track (or asks to reroute the track to give the team time). She ensures the team has what they need to shine.
Above all, Lynn carries an underdog spirit, thriving in moments when the odds are long, the competition has deep benches and deep pockets, and the opportunity isn’t guaranteed. Lynn doesn’t just believe indie teams can compete, she proves it.
Lynn has long challenged one of the ad industry’s most deep-rooted beliefs: that the “best” or “biggest” work only comes from the AOR on any given account, which in her experience has been holding company shops with global reach.
However, she knows some of the best opportunities are never defined in a contract or traditional media plan but instead brought to clients through proactive people and agencies looking out for impact-making moments.
Lynn has been on the digital side of things at Indie shops long enough to see the transition from “the ones who gave up going on shoots to make banners” to “the ones who create weird, fun, breakthrough ideas for and with the internet.”
At the indie agencies she’s helped lead, Lynn has shown that creative breakthroughs can come from project-based partnerships, small teams, and always thinking beyond the scope.
She has led bold, culture-forward work, including:
Engineering a GIF-maker that scaled at internet speed for Dr Pepper
Developing an in-store digital mirror try-on experience for LensCrafters
Remixing unlikely ingredients with Sir Mix-A-Lot for 7Up
Selling guac with an AI-generated Gronk for Avocados From Mexico
She helps clients see around corners, move quickly, and act on moments that don’t come with playbooks. She’s helped redefine what "valuable" creative looks like, and more importantly, where it can come from.
At 270B, Lynn doesn’t wait for resources, she builds them.
Having worked at a holding company agency before, she knows what it’s like to assume support systems are in place. But since committing to indie shops, she doesn’t look around and wonder who’s handling it, she is the one who finds a way. And because she’s done this before, she brought the playbook with her to 270B.
She’s proactively sourced the right creative partners, from social to tech to production needs, which has enabled us to scale fast, avoid bottlenecks, and keep quality high without sacrificing timelines. This has helped lift the work and the people around her.
Lynn has quietly elevated the agency’s creative standards, especially on brands like NatureSweet, AeroFarms, and Avocados From Mexico. Her leadership turns constraints into creativity and makes a lean team feel limitless.
That’s how she thinks like an indie every day: she doesn’t wait for what’s missing but builds what’s needed.
Lynn has the spirit and drive to push our indie agency forward, not just leading accounts but doing the work, too. Where does this energy come from? You won’t find crushed Red Bull cans on her desk. Instead, it’s from the same place she taps during her training runs and marathons: passion, grit, and a love of the work itself.
The turning point came at the ten-year mark in Lynn’s career, a moment of reflection and clarity.
She had completed two distinct chapters: five years at an indie agency with a fierce “we’re not for sale” spirit, followed by nearly five years at holding company agencies, including one during an acquisition. The contrast couldn’t have been clearer.
At the indie shop, Lynn saw how creative ambition could thrive when people had ownership, pride, and a shared hustle. At the holding companies, she experienced the weight of layers of process, permission, and politics.
Faced with her next move, she knew she wanted to go the independent route: Fewer layers. Hungrier people. More direct impact. A sweeter success story.
Since then, she’s chosen the harder, less-defined road and helped her fellow indies build something great on it.
Lynn leads in a way that makes indie teams feel bigger, not by adding headcount, but by unlocking belief.
She’s the teammate who raises the bar simply by being in the room, encouraging others to take creative risks and trust their gut. Her attention to the work and to the people doing it sets a quiet standard. One that others naturally rise to meet.
Inside 270B, she’s mentored junior creatives, supported cross-office collaboration, and brought in outside partners who have since become long-term collaborators. Outside the agency, she’s built a network of former teammates, freelancers, and creative allies who still look to her as a sounding board and a creative compass.
Her ripple effect isn’t loud, it’s lasting. And it’s rooted in what makes indie work work: trust, resourcefulness, and the belief that we’re all in it to make something great together.
