In the last 15 years, Freshpet has gone from tiny start-up to major player in the pet food category. What it hasn’t done is become a household name. Our job was to insert the relatively unknown brand into the pop culture conversation while being true to Freshpet’s positioning as the choice of ultimate pet lovers.
Our solution? Partnering with a pop culture prima donna with a penchant for pooches. Meghan Trainor is a world-famous singer and songwriter. She’s also the loving mom of four adorable dogs. She was the perfect choice.
Did it work? Heck, yeah, it worked! According to our Brand Lift study, Ad Recall was more than 2x CPG average. And Brand Awareness was 3.5x greater than average! Best of all, consumers fell head over paws for our “Dog Mom” anthem.
