The Art and Sound of Meeting in Seattle

information

Visit Seattle

PB&

An urban metropolis set in the middle of luscious natural surroundings, Seattle offers the ability to explore long standing landmarks such as Pike Place Market and the Space Needle alongside world-class restaurants and signature retail shops––all within walking distance of premier meeting facilities and a robust hotel mix. It’s a city that’s artfully designed for memorable meeting experiences.

One of the largest travel conferences, IMEX, is in Las Vegas every year. While an important place for a destination to be, it’s also hard to cut through the noise. We had to create an experience that would get people to not only stop, but interact with Seattle––bolstering favorability of the destination. And do it in a way that doesn't require staffing.

The Art of Meeting in Seattle celebrated the many pieces of Seattle that make it a great place to meet. One side inspired by an art gallery featured the natural and urban beauty of Seattle. It celebrated the architectural beauty of Summit, the new building at Seattle Convention Center. The other side allowed passersby to lean into those experiences. Listening stations gave people a respite from the Las Vegas noise, pulling them into the unique and ambient sounds of Seattle.

From the sounds of nature and ferry horns to the conductor at the Space Needle, this experience sucked people into all that is Seattle besting stop rates of other brand activations and delivered the strongest delight rate of any activation.
