Druthers is a new coffee shop opening in Sacramento, California in the next few weeks. Druthers is also southern slang for preference. Nick and Whitney the owners of Druthers came to OKB to help bring that southern welcoming, been there forever, doing things the way our ancestors did vibe to life. Nick, who has roots in the deep south and is a restaurant vet said that if he had his druthers, he'd keep things simple to be able to do everything perfectly. They only serve coffee and waffles.
The logo design is an initial cap that blends elements of their signature waffle, a square counter in the D and syrup drips flowing into a classic filigree.
Coffee shops are a dime a dozen. The challenge with Druthers was to bring to life their uniqie point of view to and get noticed in a crowded market.
