Alaska’s biggest internet provider, GCI Communications, has a stranglehold on the market—to the tune of a 79% market share. As a result, Alaska customers have no idea there’s a better alternative out there to the subpar internet they’re currently receiving.


We leaned into making it very clear that Alaska Communications’ new fiber network boasts the fastest, most powerful internet Alaskans can get. So all that frustration you’re experiencing from your slow, throttled connection can be done with. The results*:              

491% increased traffic to the Alaska Communications landing page,           447% increase in “check availability” clicks, and 61% more fiber orders within the previous year’s coverage area. 

*These results are for the first three weeks following launch period. 


In the United States, it is well known that Alaska is a state that can feel a bit disconnected to the rest of the country, and that includes internet coverage. Internet coverage across the state of Alaska is not nearly as much of a given as it is in the lower 48 states. That may not be as commonly known throughout the rest of the world.
