We redefined the branding for Figure 8 Investment Strategies to feature their commitment to ethical investing with a vibrant activist-inspired aesthetic.


The main challenge was to maintain industry trust, appeal to clients who value both financial returns and social responsibility and empower them to invest with impact, all while standing out in a conservative market typically dominated by predictable branding.


To address these challenges, we developed a strong, confident brand identity that diverges from traditional norms in the industry. The new bold, compact typography draws from American activist history, symbolizing a commitment to change. The imagery merges classic financial icons with vibrant social and environmental activism. Since the rebrand, Figure 8 has seen a substantial uptick in engagement, with clients expressing excitement and increased inquiries at trade shows and conferences, highlighting the effectiveness and appeal of the new branding.


The redesign of Figure 8's brand was a strategic update aligned with the shift towards sustainability and ethical business practices. It positions them as leaders in impactful investing in a world focused on social responsibility. This redesign goes beyond visual changes, meeting functional business needs, and tapping into global trends of ethical investment, appealing to those aiming to positively impact through their financial choices.
